Türkiye offers very different trips: Istanbul’s historic neighbourhoods, Cappadocia’s landscapes, the Mediterranean coast and archaeological sites around İzmir. Choose one or two regions for a short holiday and allow enough time for transfers between them.

Istanbul: history and the Bosphorus

Explore the historic peninsula on foot, choosing a manageable set of sites rather than trying to enter every monument in one day. Add time by the Bosphorus and a neighbourhood meal. Cappadocia: valleys beyond the balloon

The landscape can be enjoyed on foot through the valleys and viewpoints even if a hot-air balloon flight is cancelled by weather. Compare walking distance, terrain, cave-site access and transport between Göreme, Uçhisar and other villages. Antalya and the Mediterranean
